Client's in my practice are typically college students and adults of all backgrounds. Areas of focus often include depressed mood, anxiety, loss, self-esteem, relationship challenges, transitions, social concerns, pregnancy and pregnancy loss, work and school challenges, trauma, adjustment and personal growth.
Using a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused and systemic approaches, clients work toward their identified goals. I strive to create a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings and behaviors while gaining insight into different aspects of their lives. I am curious to learn each person's unique story, how this has shaped them, and how they want to grow from their current and past circumstances. I am constantly inspired by my client's strengths and abilities to overcome challenges. One small positive change can often lead to another.
